From here down all information is required.
Next tell us about some person who was locally famous from your city. This can be a living person or someone as far back as when the city first began. Tell us what made them famous and why you chose them to write about.
Tell us growing up who gave you the greatest desire to excel. This can be one or more people. Specific names are NOT required. Ex: fifth grade Math teacher. Tell us a little bit as to why you picked this person or persons.
Finally here is the big one that will score the most with the committee. Write an essay stating what you want to become once you graduate from college, why you want to attend college, what type of curriculum you seek and finally why you feel you are the best candidate for this scholarship. A minimum of 500 words is required. Five characters per word is the average assumed.
