When filling out the application be sure to use proper punctuation. Capitalize where necessary. All applicants must be sure to fill in all required information within the digital form. Some information is optional, however it can be helpful to stand out above other applicants. The information you share with our association will not be shared outside our organization. We simply want to provide help to a deserving student.
The scholarship presentation will be performed in the presence of local media. Therefore by agreeing that you have read these instructions you are hereby agreeing to be bound by these instructions as if it were a legally binding contractual agreement.
At the time of the presentation a representation of a check will be made available to use for dynamic exposure to the cameras. Such check will not be considered legal tender. The actual scholarship funds will go to the college or university that you have expressed on this application form.
Once our committee has reviewed all applications they will make their decision. The committee's decision will be made early enough for use of the funds during fall enrollment. Make sure that your choice of college is expressed to our treasurer just prior to enrollment. Once an applicant is chosen further instructions and documents will be provided to insure that the funds go exactly where intended.
If you become the applicant of choice you may be required to provide additional documents such as proof of current GPA, student I.D. to prove that you attend the High School matching this years scholarship funding and proof of GPA for your entire high school career.
If for any reason you cannot meet these requirements please don't stand in the way of some other person's future.
